What to Expect When You Reach Out
Most people who call us have never been through this before. Here's exactly how the process works — no surprises.
Step 1
Schedule Your Evaluation
Call or email and we'll get you on the calendar — often within the same week. We'll tell you exactly what documents to bring so you're prepared.
Step 2
Complete Your Evaluation
Your evaluation takes about an hour, either in our Springfield office or virtually. It's a straightforward, confidential conversation — not a test. There's no pass or fail.
Step 3
Get Your Results
You'll receive your evaluation results the same day. We send documentation directly to your attorney or the court as needed — you don't have to chase paperwork.
Step 4
Complete Any Required Treatment
If treatment is recommended, we handle that too — in-person or online group classes with flexible evening scheduling. Most clients complete their requirements within a few weeks.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
To ensure we can complete your evaluation efficiently, please bring:
- Court-purpose driving abstract — from the Secretary of State (available online) or the Dirksen Parkway office in Springfield
- Law Enforcement Sworn Report or Notice of Summary Suspension — from your arrest. Available through the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk's office
- Valid photo ID
Example of a Law Enforcement Sworn Report / Notice of Summary Suspension — one of the required documents for your evaluation.
Don't have your paperwork yet? No problem — call us and we'll explain exactly where to get each document.
Virtual Evaluations
Can't make it to our Springfield office? We offer secure telehealth evaluations for Illinois residents and out-of-state clients with an Illinois DUI on their record. Call or email to schedule a virtual appointment.
